Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract position on the 4 North unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work at least every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• 32-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:5 on day shift and 1:6 on night shift
• Work alongside a night shift team consisting of 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2 PCTs
• Medical/surgical experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with transplants, dialysis patients, and diabetic patients preferred
• Perform all surgical procedures including kidney transplants
• Use equipment including Welch Allyn vital signs machines, i-Mobile iPhones for communications, and radio with headsets
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• Navy scrub color required
• Team player who takes initiative preferred
