ICU Registered Nurse Job in Portage, WI

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with an ASAP start date on a Sunday end date
• 12-hour night shifts required every weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week (guaranteed hours not applicable during orientation week)
• Holiday rotation required; observed holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview locations
• No on-call or back-up requirements; additional shifts may be available for sick call coverage
• Primary unit is the MSICU with a case mix of medical and surgical patients including joint replacements and general surgical patients
• Must be ICU and Med/Surg competent
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; Med/Surg experience and travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Wisconsin RN license required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Will not accommodate more than 7 days of requested time off
• Scrub color: Dark blue
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change well, social, assertive, confident in skills, and a team player
• Must reside outside of 50 miles from the facility
