ICU Registered Nurse Job in Woodruff, WI

Aspirus Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, Wisconsin is hiring a Registered Nurse for its 10-bed ICU/IMC unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Weekly pay: $2,602

Clinical Responsibilities

• Primary assignment to ICU with patient ratios of 1:2
• Float to IMC (1:3–1:4 ratios) and Medical/Surgical unit (1:5–1:6 ratios) as needed
• Facility float to Rhinelander, Eagle River, and Tomahawk locations with prescheduled notice
• May be placed on low census or on-call status; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• EPIC charting experience preferred

Requirements

• Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• One travel assignment preferred but not required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Work Environment

• Any color scrubs permitted
• Medical/Surgical unit has 34 beds; ICU/IMC unit has 10 beds
