Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Floating required if needed to like units based on skill set
• Weekend coverage every other weekend (may change based on need)
• Cares for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Unit operates with a daily census of 15-20 patients and 30 beds
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med Surg Tele specialty required
• Travel experience required - does not accept first-time travelers
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Medication system: Omnicell
• Active Tennessee RN license or multistate license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Teaching and community hospital experience preferred
• Skills include: blood product administration, telemetry, peripheral line care and management, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, central line blood draw, feeding tube care and management, colostomy/ileostomy management, and accessing/managing ports
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
