Med Surg RN Job in Independence, MO

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for a 91-day travel assignment at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri. You'll work as an RN on the Medical-Surgical Orthopedic unit, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed hours: 48 hours per week preferred
• Weekly pay: $2,360

Your Role:

You'll deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to orthopedic and medical-surgical patients. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, pre- and post-operative support, pain management, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. You'll contribute to a culture of safety, patient advocacy, and continuous quality improvement on the unit.

About You:

You hold an active RN license in Missouri (or possess a valid compact license). You have experience in acute care settings, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to manage multiple patients in a dynamic environment. You communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, and you're committed to maintaining professional standards and adapting quickly to new facility protocols.
