Job Details:

• Primary shift runs 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a 30-minute break for 3 days
• Float day shift options include 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, 12:00 PM to 9:30 PM (30-minute break), or overnight
• Total of 37.5 hours per week
• Free housing available
• Perform CT/CAT scan imaging exams proficiently and independently without supervision
• Produce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas per established policies and procedures
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of pediatric immobilization devices adhering to safety precautions
• Prepare and enter written documentation including informed patient consent and patient chart documentation
• Observe sterile and aseptic techniques when necessary
• Regularly check equipment, supplies, and accessories
• Assess physical needs of adult and geriatric patients and address special needs of all age groups served
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas
• Complete requested examinations in a timely manner while observing radiation safety standards
• Observe Bio-Safety and Radiation safety rules and regulations
• Perform related duties in PACS
• Must be computer literate and able to select and operate equipment as directed
• Must be aware of and able to prevent Sentinel Events
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology required
• NYSDOH License required
• ARRT certification required
