SLP Job in Oregon, Missouri

You'll deliver speech-language pathology services in a long-term care setting, working Monday through Friday on a 5x8 days schedule with no weekend hours unless a holiday falls within the weekdays. This is a 91-day assignment beginning August 31, 2026.

Your responsibilities include:

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement plans of care that meet all regulatory and clinical practice standards
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed, documenting outcomes in clinical records
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify services based on patient response
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
• Communicate with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries meeting regulatory requirements
• Document all information in the electronic documentation system and maintain accurate patient records
• Record treatment minutes for services provided per regulatory standards
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Attend required facility and company trainings, in-services, and conferences
• Obtain necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical standards
• Supervise and support CFY or student speech-language pathologists when needed

Requirements:

• Missouri state license and CCC certification required
• Minimum 1 year SLP experience (new graduates accepted with Level II experience)
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• 3 years holding active CCS preferred
• Adherence to ASHA and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics

You'll work at Tide Health Group - Oregon Care Center in Oregon, Missouri. Weekly pay is $2,534.40.
