SLP Job in Lewistown, MO

You will work as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a long-term care setting at Tide Health Group - Country Aire in Lewistown, Missouri. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 5x8 flex schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
• No weekend requirements unless a holiday falls during the week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $2,422

Your Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and service providers
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and interdisciplinary health team members about patient progress
• Document all regulatory and clinical information in the electronic documentation system
• Participate in required meetings, including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings
• Supervise and support CFY or student speech-language pathologists
• Maintain compliance with ASHA and Missouri state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standards

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (Therapy credential)
• Missouri state license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
• Active ASHA membership and state licensure required
• Minimum 1 year of SLP experience required
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• New graduates acceptable if you have completed Level II clinical experience (not Level I observation only)
