SLP Job in Saint Joseph, MO

Vertical Health Services - Advanced Care of St Joseph is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a long-term care position in Saint Joseph, MO. This is a full-time role working 5 days per week on day shift.

About the Role

You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities for residents. Your responsibilities include:

• Creating communication treatment plans that help residents express themselves and understand others more effectively
• Leading and directing the delivery of speech language pathology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Ensuring all services align with facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate resident care
• Maintaining compliance with skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, and guidelines

Schedule and Duration

You will work 5x8 days (days shift) for 91 days, beginning October 26, 2026. Occasional weekend schedule may be required. There are no on-call responsibilities.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,672.

Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted Missouri state SLP license
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of SLP clinical experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, and guidelines
• Valid driver's license
• Educational requirements of licensure must be met
• One professional reference at time of submission
