SLP Job in Mound City, MO

You will provide speech-language pathology services in a long-term care setting at Tide Health Group - Tiffany Heights. This is a day-shift position with a 91-day duration, beginning September 14, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5x8 days, Monday through Friday
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend shifts required unless a holiday falls within your regular schedule, in which case hours may be made up on the weekend
• Weekly pay: $2,531

Your Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Develop appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record
• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services in relation to patient evaluations
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans
• Provide comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical requirements
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy
• Accurately record treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements
• Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists as needed

Requirements

• Missouri State License
• CCC certification required
• Minimum 1 year of SLP experience
• New graduates accepted with Level II experience (Level I observation experience alone is not sufficient)
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• 3 years of experience holding active CCS preferred
• Adhere to ASHA and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice
