Job Details:

• 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Weekends, call, and holidays required
• Must arrive within 30 minutes of being called in
• Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Must have travel experience
• Must have orthopedic experience
• Must have scrubbing experience
• Must have Da Vinci experience
• Must have completed a Certified Surgical Tech program
• BLS certification required
• Function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient
• Perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel, including precise and efficient reaction to all situations
• Create and maintain a sterile surgical room and ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
• Knowledge in the use of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the clinical operating room setting
• May be asked to precept new staff
