Job Details:

• Variable shift schedule including 1:00 PM–1:00 AM, 4:00 PM–4:00 AM, and/or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required, with 2–3 weekends per month
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 3 years of experience required
• California RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA or ARC only)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Charge experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Provide care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform and manage skills including triage, arterial line management, IV vasopressors, continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, blood product administration, central line care, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, phlebotomy, and interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs
• Treat a wide variety of conditions including abdominal pain, asthma, burns, CVA, seizures, head injury, spinal cord injury, sickle cell crisis, mental and behavioral health conditions, and traumatic amputation
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
