ICU RN Job in Indianapolis, IN

Franciscan Health Indianapolis is seeking an experienced RN for a 12-week travel assignment in their 30-bed Adult Intensive Care Unit. You will work 3 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) with every other weekend commitment including Friday and Saturday nights. This position guarantees 36 hours per week at $2,229 weekly pay, with a start date of October 5, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Perform comprehensive assessments and manage complex patient populations
• Care for mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Support patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric disorders
• Float to other inpatient areas as needed during low census periods on your home unit
• Work with specialized equipment including Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, and EV 1000

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong assessment skills and experience caring for septic patients
• Experience with mechanically ventilated patients and hemodynamic monitoring
• CRRT and Epic experience preferred

Working Conditions

• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity
• EMR system: Epic
• Required scrub color: Navy (hoodies and non-facility sweatshirts are not acceptable)
