ICU RN Job in Indianapolis, IN

You'll work as an RN in a 30-bed Adult Intensive Care Unit at Franciscan Health Indianapolis. This is a day shift position with 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, guaranteeing 36 hours of work each week. You'll work every weekend, including Saturday and Sunday, with no on-call requirements.

Patient Care & Clinical Skills

You'll manage patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on acuity. Your experience should include comprehensive assessment skills and direct care for septic patients and mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices. You'll work with patients presenting sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric disorders. Experience with continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and Epic EMR is preferred.

Equipment & Requirements

You'll operate equipment including Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, and EV 1000. Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required. You must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.

Staffing & Expectations

Floating to other inpatient areas is required when your home unit census is low. You'll wear navy scrubs; hoodies and non-approved sweatshirts are not acceptable attire.

Assignment Details

This assignment is 91 days, beginning August 24, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,405.
