ICU RN Job in Indianapolis, IN

Franciscan Health Indianapolis is seeking an RN for their 30-bed Adult Intensive Care Unit. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend commitment required (Friday and Saturday nights). This is a guaranteed 36-hour weekly position with no on-call requirements.

Your Role:

• Provide direct patient care in a 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 ratio depending on acuity
• Manage patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric disorders
• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor hemodynamically unstable patients
• Care for mechanically ventilated patients and operate monitoring devices
• Float to other inpatient areas when the home unit census is low

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong assessment skills and experience with septic and mechanically ventilated patients
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring devices

Preferred Qualifications:

• CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) experience
• Epic EMR proficiency

• Assignment duration is 112 weeks
