BACKFILL - TRAVEL - RN - CVICU FLOAT POOL (650) - 6:45PM-7:15AM

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - CVICU Float Pool</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour shifts with 36 hours per week requirement<br>• Alternating weekend schedule required<br>• Patient ratios typically 2:1 or 1:1, occasionally 3:1 depending on acuity<br>• Float to all areas as needed<br>• Must have ICU experience with critical care skills<br>• Required to titrate vasopressor medications and manage pressors, sedation, and paralytics<br>• Experience with ventilators, trachs, and telemetry interpretation required<br>• Must understand hemodynamics and PA catheter setup and interpretation<br>• Work with specialized equipment including vents, telemetry, Baxter IV pumps, IABP, CRRT, Impella, and hypothermia devices<br>• Perform procedures including cardioversion, central line insertion, EGD, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertions, pericardiocentesis, and thoracentesis<br>• Document using Cerner system<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH<br>• CCRN certification recommended<br>• Advanced skills desired: IABP, Impella, CRRT experience<br>• Uniform requirements: All navy or navy and white scrubs only<br>• 4-hour hospital orientation followed by 8-hour floor shift<br>• Must be capable of ECMO, LVAD, and catheter lab recovery procedures</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility features a 16-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit that provides advanced cardiac care with state-of-the-art technology and equipment.
