Respiratory Therapist Job in Lansing, MI

Join McLaren Greater Lansing as a Registered Respiratory Therapist on our night shift team. This 91-day travel position offers you the opportunity to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment while working a predictable 3x12 night schedule.

About the Role

You will perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures, manage ventilators and BiPAP equipment, and draw arterial blood gases (ABGs). You'll evaluate patient and resident responses to respiratory therapy interventions and implement corrective actions as needed. Your responsibilities include educating patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols, as well as performing routine equipment maintenance and service checks. You will maintain detailed records and documentation throughout your shifts.

What We're Looking For

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license with 2+ years of clinical experience
• Hands-on experience with ventilators, BiPAP, ICU settings, and emergency departments
• ABG training and competency
• Current BLS and NBRC certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Valid Michigan state respiratory therapist license

Schedule & Commitment

This is a night shift position with every third weekend included. On-call responsibilities are part of this role. The assignment runs 91 days, beginning October 26, 2026.

Compensation

You will earn $1,989 per week.
