Respiratory Therapist Job in Midland, MI

You will work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at MyMichigan Health – Midland on a temporary assignment. This role runs for 91 days, starting September 7, 2026, and offers a weekly pay of $2,151.36.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12 night shifts
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing for the cardiopulmonary system, independently or in consultation with a physician
• Perform respiratory care evaluations and treat protocol evaluations
• Deliver medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers
• Respond immediately to all Rapid Responses, arrests, and STAT situations
• Maintain artificial airways, respiration, and cardiac compressions as needed
• Set up and maintain all oxygen according to protocol
• Provide CPR and life support systems during emergency situations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience required
• Previous travel work experience preferred
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Active Michigan license with LARA verification showing Active status
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and Active RRT Certification through NBRC
• Skills checklist current within one year pertinent to Respiratory Therapy
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
