CT Technologist Job in New York, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 56-week travel assignment at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital MSP in New York, NY. You will work overnight shifts from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM, Monday through Friday, at $3,040 per week.

Assignment Overview

This role focuses on CT imaging and radiography in an orthopedic specialty setting. Your first two weeks will be completed on day shift for training purposes, after which you will transition to the regular overnight schedule. You will work independently due to the low-volume nature of the overnight shift, with a typical daily caseload of up to 20 patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and X-rays in exam room and portable equipment settings
• Handle imaging across outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU work settings
• Execute X-ray procedures including extremities, spine, pelvis, head, chest, thorax, and musculoskeletal studies
• Execute CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Serve patient populations ranging from pediatrics through geriatrics
• May be rotated across multiple departments within the hospital or at the private sector location across the street

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications
• New York State License with IV Certification
• New York Department of Health certification
• Experience operating Siemens equipment
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 pounds, with or without assistive devices
• Epic charting system experience preferred
