CT Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for weekend overnight shifts. You will work Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM EST, with 2–3 on-call shifts per month and holiday coverage as needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification before initiating scans
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging support
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort and compliance
• Insert IVs when necessary for contrast-enhanced testing
• Position patients appropriately, including safe lifting and movement techniques for patients with limited mobility
• Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC, documenting all required components
• Identify images and ensure proper transmission to PACS upon exam completion
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility environment

Required qualifications:

• NYS licensure with injection therapy certification on license at time of submission
• Formal training from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certification through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Minimum two years of experience; Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Telemetry certification
• Minimum 6 months Siemens scanner experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment
• One year of Epic experience

This is an 89-day assignment with a weekly pay rate of $3,137 and a start date of September 21, 2026. You will work 12-hour shifts as an Allied Health Professional in a Level 1 trauma setting.
