CT Technologist Job in Albany, NY

Albany Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Tuesday, with no on-call responsibilities.

About the Role

You will perform CT scan procedures in a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. Your responsibilities include:

• Creating diagnostic images using CT modality to provide patients with safe and positive experiences
• Performing CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (both stable and intensive care), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Conducting trauma and emergency room scanning as part of regular duties
• Practicing and enforcing radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Supporting teaching and continued learning as technology evolves

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possession of a limited permit to practice in the State of New York
• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification

This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,830.
