PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - Pre Op

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends and no on-call responsibilities
• Three 12-hour day shifts per week with start times varying between 5:00 AM, 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM
• No night shift available
• Patient ratio of 3 to 1
• Work on a 17-bed Cardiovascular Prep unit located on the 2nd floor of the Heart Tower
• Prep patients for cath lab, CVOR, and EP lab procedures
• Recover patients with moderate sedation from labs
• Utilize Dash monitors, EKG machines, and Meditech EMR system
• IV accessing skills required
• Cardiac monitoring skills required
• Previous Pre-Op experience preferred
• Prep and/or PACU experience preferred
• May float to other areas of the hospital for tasking as needed
• Required certifications: ACLS and BCLS
• Dress code: Ceil Blue or Royal Blue scrubs
