Job Details:

• 13-week assignment in a Level III NICU setting
• Unit operates with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 10 nurses; night shift includes 1 charge nurse and 10 nurses
• Unit has 21 beds with flex capacity up to 37 beds
• Weekend availability required at least every other weekend
• On-call responsibilities included
• Must be able to care for babies from Level I through Level III acuity
• Typical procedures include line placement and intubations
• May float to Postpartum unit
• EMR systems used: Meditech and CPN
• Dress code: Purple scrubs
• Minimum 3 years of Level III NICU experience required
• Delivery experience preferred
• California RN license required
• Required certification: NRP
