ED Registered Nurse Job in Appleton, WI

ThedaCare - Appleton is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning October 26, 2026.

Position Details

• 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 3x12 night shift schedule
• Shift options include 7:00 PM–7:00 AM and other variable times between 7:00 AM–1:00 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• 18-bed emergency department with a 1:4 patient ratio
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks
• Float responsibilities include all ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius
• Potential to work the night before holidays and on holidays

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience
• Triage experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting experience within the last year required
• At least one completed travel assignment required
• Previous travel experience required
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• Wisconsin RN license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Candidates whose home or current facility is within 50 miles of Neenah, WI are not eligible

Additional Information

• Solid black scrubs required for all RNs across the organization
• Zoom interview with the MRG required
