ED Registered Nurse Job in Waupaca, WI

ThedaCare - Waupaca is seeking a Registered Nurse for an 8-bed Emergency Department unit. This is a 13-week travel contract starting September 28, 2026, offering a stable schedule with competitive pay.

Position Details

• 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week (36 guaranteed hours weekly)
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation required
• Float duties to facilities within a 60-mile radius
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks of absence
• 1:4 patient ratio in the ED
• Weekly pay: $2,404

Required Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience
• Minimum 2+ years Emergency Department experience
• At least one completed travel nursing contract
• Epic charting experience within the last year
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
