OR Registered Nurse Job in Odessa, TX

Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 27, 2026, offering a Friday-to-Sunday schedule with no call requirements.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 days (Friday–Sunday)
• Weekly pay: $2,329
• 3–4 days of orientation provided
• 1:1 patient ratio
• No call required

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• 2–3 years of OR experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Cerner charting system experience
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Community hospital experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with robotic surgery (DaVinci XI)
• Previous charge nurse experience
• Experience in multiple surgical specialties including orthopedic, spine/neuro, general/GYN, ENT, ophthalmology, pain management, urology, vascular, and trauma

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care across all surgical specialties
• Serve patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams
• Utilize Cerner electronic health record system
• Work alongside unit secretarial support
