Operating Room RN Job in Baltimore, MD

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Operating Room at LBH - Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a 98-week travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026, offering competitive compensation of $2,640 per week.

Position Details:

• 5x8 hour shifts, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call: 1 per week plus 2 eight-hour weekend shifts in a 6-week cycle
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Approximately 40 cases per day across multiple specialties

Requirements:

• Maryland or compact RN license required upon submission
• 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Level II trauma experience
• BLS certification
• 16-hour Maryland-approved trauma course
• 8 hours annual trauma CEUs
• Proficiency in trauma, ENT, colorectal, plastics, neurosurgery, surgical oncology, oral/dental, laparoscopic, urology, ophthalmology, gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, robotics, vascular, and thoracic procedures
• Experience with emergency OR response, fire safety, malignant hyperthermia, and latex allergy precautions
• Proficiency with electrosurgical units, fiber-optic equipment, and Steris equipment
• Required case experience: thoracic, ENT, endoscopic, general surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and trauma

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching hospital and Level I trauma experience
• ACLS, NIH, or PALS certification

Additional Information:

• Care provided to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Charting system: Cerner/Surginet
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Time off restrictions apply; system auto-approves 14 days or less; every other winter and summer holiday required with no RTO approved; no RTO on hard-to-fill days including Easter, Mother's Day, and Father's Day
