Operating Room RN Job in Baltimore, MD

LBH - Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a 98-week travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026, paying $2,301 per week.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour night shifts: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 1 on-call shift required per week
• 2 eight-hour weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule period
• Block scheduling is not available

Role Details

• Patient ratio: 1:1 in the Operating Room
• Float within scope required throughout the system
• Facility provides scrubs
• OR averages approximately 40 cases per day
• Charting system: Cerner/Surginet
• Care provided to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

Experience & Competency Requirements

• 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• General OR and Trauma experience required
• Level II trauma experience required; Level I trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency required in: Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Laparoscopic Procedures, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Robotics, Vascular, and Thoracic procedures
• Required case experience: thoracic, ENT, endoscopic, general surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and trauma
• Experience required with emergency OR response, fire safety, malignant hyperthermia, and latex allergy precautions
• Proficiency with electrosurgical units, fiber-optic equipment, and Steris equipment required

Licensing & Certifications

• Maryland or compact RN license required upon submission
• BLS certification required
• 16-hour Maryland-approved trauma course required
• 8 hours of annual trauma CEUs required
• ACLS certification preferred
• NIH certification preferred
• PALS certification preferred
