ED RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Banner Baywood Medical Center, located at 6644 E Baywood Ave in Mesa, Arizona. This is a travel assignment running 89 days, beginning January 4, 2027.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week
• Weekly pay: $2,434

Your Responsibilities

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. You will review patient history and physical with patients and families, ensuring completion within appropriate timeframes. You will review diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers.

You will formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data, and medical plan of care. You will provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of health care team activities. You will evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed. You will document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner in the patient record.

You will participate in unit or facility shared leadership and contribute to the education, role development, and orientation of personnel, patients, and families. You will actively participate in the improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting required, with experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
