ED RN Job in Mesa, AZ

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting at Banner Desert Medical Center, located at 1400 S Dobson Rd in Mesa, AZ. This is a travel nursing assignment offering a 3x12 night shift schedule for an 89-week duration, beginning January 4, 2027. Your weekly pay is $2,434.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Review patient history and physical with patients and families, ensuring completion within appropriate timeframes
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and initiate individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data, and medical orders
• Implement plans of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of health care team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner in patient records
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and contribute to improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes
• May supervise staff and workflow of the department in some capacities

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona required
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, with emergency department experience within the past 12 months
• BLS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
