ED RN Job in Gilbert, AZ

You'll work as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Banner Gateway Medical Center, located at 1900 N Higley Road in Gilbert, Arizona. This is a 3x12 night shift role with an 89-day contract beginning September 28, 2026. You'll earn $2,446.20 per week.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies
• Provide direct patient care addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Review patient history and physical with patients and families, ensuring timely completion
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and caregivers
• Formulate and implement plans of care, including discharge planning based on assessment data
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Participate in unit shared leadership and facility personnel education

Requirements:

• Current valid RN license in Arizona or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to emergency department
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds using proper body mechanics
• Willingness to use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

A bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred but not required. You'll work varied hours within the emergency department, managing a diverse patient population and fast-paced environment typical of acute care settings.
