CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Dual-modality role performing both CT Scans and X-Rays
• Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 2:30 PM to Midnight (with a 30-minute lunch break)
• Training schedule for first 2 weeks: Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 4x9 shift format with a 30-minute lunch break included
• Daily caseload of up to 20 patients
• Patient age groups include Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Caseload involves Orthopedic exams performed in exam room settings or via portable equipment
• May be rotated across multiple departments within the hospital or private sector location across the street
• Work setting experience required: Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU
• General skills experience required: Portables
• X-Ray procedure experience required: Extremities, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Lower Extremities, and Upper Extremities
• CT procedure experience required: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
• Must have experience operating Siemens equipment
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications and licenses: BLS, ARRT (R & CT), NYS License (DOHNYS), and IV Certification
• Position requires the ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 pounds, with or without the use of assistive devices
