Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x12 schedule)
• Block scheduling potential available but not guaranteed
• Weekend requirement includes 4 weekend shifts per 6-week period (2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays), along with 3 Mondays and 3 Fridays
• Only one holiday may be requested as RTO
• Travel partners are not allowed
• 1.5 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Experience with pre-cardiac cath and managing ports required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Active compact license required at time of submission
• EPIC charting experience required
• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients
• Support ED boarders across the system (patients waiting for a bed in the ED requiring inpatient care)
• Float potential between Edgewood and Florence campuses as needed, as well as to Observation Units, MS, and MS Tele units
• If insufficient ED boarders, float to observation units at Edgewood and Florence campuses
• Key skills required include: accessing/managing ports, cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, heparin protocols, pre/post cardiac cath, central line care/management, PICC line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and IV insulin protocols
• Navy blue scrubs required; no agency or brand logos permitted on scrubs or apparel
• No nose rings or gauged earrings permitted
• Natural fingernails required for direct patient care; nails must be less than 1/4" in length; polish is acceptable
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• No cafeteria on-site; refrigerator and microwave provided
