Operating Room RN Job in Paducah, Kentucky

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced RN for Operating Room at Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. in Paducah, Kentucky. This is a 26-week travel assignment ideal for nurses who want to expand their vascular surgical expertise.

Position Details

• 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• On-call every other day and every other weekend required
• Weekly pay: $1,568
• Start date: October 15, 2026

Clinical Requirements

You must bring solid vascular experience with demonstrated competency in the vascular pod handling both endovascular and open vascular cases. Specific case experience required includes:

• Endovascular AAA repair (EVAR) using Medtronic, Gore, Cook, and Endologix devices
• TEVAR with Medtronic and Gore devices
• TCAR (transcarotid, not transfemoral) with Silk Road/Boston Scientific
• Atherectomy and thrombectomy using Penumbra, Inari, or AngioJet, or open cases with Fogarty catheter
• Aortograms and dialysis access procedures including AV grafts and AV fistulas
• Carotid and femoral endarterectomy, fem-pop bypass, and vein cases including ablation, VenaSeal, and Varithena procedures
• Laser fenestration experience is a plus

• Implement patient-centered nursing practice focused on healing and wellness
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments within RN scope of practice
• Conduct nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities
• Provide patient and family-centered education and individualized treatment planning
• Recognize, respond to, and communicate changes in patient condition appropriately
• Delegate tasks and oversee team members in patient care performance
• Actively participate in department quality improvement activities and core measures
• Willingness to assist in other specialties as needed
