Role Overview

You will perform and document comprehensive patient assessments in accordance with RN scope of practice. Your responsibilities include identifying patient risk factors and presenting complaints, collecting objective and subjective patient data, and verifying initial admission assessments. You will develop prioritized problem lists based on input from the inter-professional team and determine desired outcomes in coordination with patients and families according to the medical plan of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement patient care therapies and procedures with clinical autonomy within scope of practice
• Explain procedures, treatments, and processes to patients and families
• Recognize, respond to, and communicate changes in patient condition appropriately
• Conduct and document ongoing assessments and responses to procedures and therapies
• Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee team members in patient care activities
• Identify and address educational needs of patients based on level of comprehension
• Facilitate patient discharge process including discharge teaching and care coordination
• Actively participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
• Promote a positive group dynamic and healing environment through words and actions

Assignment Details

You will work four 10-hour shifts per week, with hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The assignment includes a monthly weekend requirement and call requirement two times per month. Holiday shifts may apply if your contract falls within a holiday period. You will earn $1,997 per week. This position begins November 2, 2026, and runs for 89 days.
