NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment in a Level III NICU setting
• Unit located on the 4th floor of the Vintage Building
• 21 to 37 bed NICU unit with a staff of 60 nurses
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 10 nurses; night shift includes 1 charge nurse and 10 nurses
• Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on patient acuity
• EMR systems used: Meditech and CPN
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of Level III NICU experience
• Must have the ability to care for babies from Level I through Level III
• Delivery experience preferred
• Ability to float to Postpartum unit preferred
• Typical procedures include line placement and intubations
• Required certification: NRP
• California RN license required
• Weekend availability required at least every other weekend
• Dress code: Purple scrubs
