Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• 1 major holiday requirement per assignment
• No on-call or standby requirement
• First to float policy in effect
• Sub-acute unit with 30 beds and a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Nurse aides available on unit with a 1:10 ratio
• Primarily care for patients with brain injury and acute respiratory failure diagnoses
• Minimum 6 months of nursing experience in acute respiratory failure patient care required
• Sub-acute or acute hospital experience required
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling available
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Unit-specific orientation provided
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
