Telemetry RN Job in Clinton, SC

Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Telemetry unit. You will work nights on a 4x12 schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every-other-weekend coverage required.

Role and Responsibilities

• Care for inpatient adults and geriatric patients with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions
• Manage cardiac patients receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation
• Perform cardiac telemetry monitoring, EKG interpretation, and non-invasive blood pressure monitoring
• Assist with special procedures including vasoactive drug administration, antiarrhythmic drug therapy, thrombolytic therapy, and defibrillation/cardioversion
• Monitor patients with common diagnoses including sepsis, MI, unstable angina, and Coronary Artery Disease
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 on a 20-bed unit with an average daily census of 14

Requirements

• Current South Carolina RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field; first-time travelers will be reviewed based on experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and telemetry management

Support and Logistics

Float to similar units or other facilities as needed based on census. The unit has access to interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy. Weekend coverage is subject to change based on facility needs.

This is a 91-day assignment with a weekly pay rate of $2,695.68. Start date is November 23, 2026.
