ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 10-bed Oncology ICU unit located on Floor 7, Building E
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Day shift reports at 6:45 AM and night shift reports at 6:45 PM
• Clock in and out for lunch
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Provide total care for critically ill patients including turning, titrating drips, dressing changes, and trach care
• Work with equipment including ventilators, CRRT, A-lines, BiPAP, Flow-track, and IV pumps
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Strong ICU experience required including titrating drips and caring for patients on ventilators
• BiPAP patient experience required
• CRRT experience preferred
• Transplant experience (Kidney, Pancreas, Liver) preferred
• Must demonstrate compassion, ability to work well with others, and maintain good rapport with physicians
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Blue scrubs required
• May float to all ICUs, PCU, and BMT units
