Physical Therapist Job in Bradenton, FL

HCA Florida Blake Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will provide physical therapy services across both the inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) and acute care hospital, working day shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct patient evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning
• Manage patient ratios of 4 patients per day in the IRF unit and 8–12 patients per day in acute care
• Perform team conferences and provide family training
• Recommend and fit adaptive devices and equipment
• Utilize therapy gyms, Vector, LiteGait, and ADL Apartment equipment
• Document all clinical activities in the Meditech EMR system

Scheduling: You will work every other weekend and holidays in rotation, with a minimum of one weekend shift per month required.

What we are looking for:

• Active PT license required
• Active BLS certification required
• Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills
• Hospital and IRF experience highly preferred
• Stroke and neurological experience preferred
• Flexible, collaborative team player approach
