Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Ocala, FL

UF Health Ocala Neighborhood Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 12-week outpatient assignment. You will work Monday through Friday on day shifts, with shift times to be determined.

• Assignment Length: 91 days starting November 16, 2026
• Schedule: 5x8 day shifts, Monday–Friday
• Weekly Pay: $2,423.60

Your Role:

You will provide outpatient physical therapy to an adult patient population in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities include seeing post-operative patients following surgeon protocols, treating general orthopedic and sports injuries, managing geriatric and post-operative cases, and addressing decreased mobility. You will work with two PTAs on staff, delegating patient care as appropriate while maintaining effective communication and clinical oversight.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Therapy (minimum)
• Current Florida Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• Documented experience treating post-operative patients (must be stated in work history)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with adult outpatient populations
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR

Assignment Terms:

• No float required
• No RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks
• Maximum 8 days RTO permitted for the contract duration
