About this role

You will provide physical therapy services across multiple care settings at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami, FL. This is a full-time travel position running 91 days, beginning May 4, 2026.

Your Role

You'll work as an experienced Physical Therapist in an integrated rehabilitation department, splitting your time between three settings:

  • Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) with a 1:4 patient ratio
  • Acute Rehabilitation with a 1:12 patient ratio
  • Outpatient services with a 1:10 patient ratio

Your responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations and follow-up treatments, with specialization in vestibular and lymphedema care. You will operate rehabilitation equipment and maintain documentation across multiple systems—Meditech for IRF and Acute settings, and NetHealth ReDoc for Outpatient services.

Schedule & Environment

You'll work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with no call requirements. You'll be part of a collaborative team of 80 rehabilitation professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.

Requirements

  • Current BLS certification
  • Proven experience as a Physical Therapist
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs and workflows
  • Strong team dynamics and collaborative mindset
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred

What to Expect

You will wear gray or black scrubs. The role emphasizes teamwork and your ability to adapt across different rehabilitation settings and documentation systems. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and specialized treatment modalities in a structured healthcare environment.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,044 for a 40-hour work week.
