ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - OR ICU/SICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 9-bed Surgical ICU unit on the 3rd Floor of the Main Building
• Patient ratios of 2:1, with potential increase to 3:1 based on unit needs
• Day shift includes Charge RN, Unit Secretary, and RNs; Night shift includes Charge RN and RNs
• No on-call requirement
• Floating requirement to MICU, telemetry, and med-surg units
• ICU experience required
• Cardiac experience preferred
• Cardiac ICU and Surgical ICU experience highly preferred
• Proficiency with bedside monitoring, IABP, CRRT, and Impella equipment required
• EMR system: Meditech
• Perform and assist with central line insertion and care
• Perform and assist with chest tube insertion and care
• Must demonstrate a caring, compassionate, respectful, and team-oriented approach to patient care
• Attendance is closely monitored
