Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours - must be indicated on submission form
• 13-week assignment
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No on-call requirements
• Float on a rotational basis
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient Cardiac Tele experience required
• Experience and competence in drug titration required
• Patient ratios vary: days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:8 (estimates, not guarantees)
• Equipment used includes Alaris pumps, telemetry, and lift equipment
• EMR system: EPIC
• Care for Cardiac/Med Surg patient population
• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Preferred certification: ACLS (AHA only)
• Current RN license required - must be eligible for or currently licensed in Missouri
• Scrub color: Black
• Unacceptable attire: Torn clothes, open-toed shoes, and not wearing scrubs
