Med Surg RN Job in Duluth, GA

Join Northside Hospital Duluth as a Registered Nurse in our Medical/Surgical unit. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, on a variable schedule for an 89-week assignment starting October 26, 2026. This role offers $1,795 weekly.

In this fast-paced acute care environment, you'll care for patients admitted from the emergency department, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), or as direct admits. Your unit routinely discharges and admits 8–15 patients daily, requiring strong organizational and clinical skills. You'll collaborate closely with an ADT (admission, discharge, transfer) nurse to maintain smooth patient flow and support the team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system (preferred)

Holiday commitments:

• Work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
• Work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
