SLP - SLP Outpatient

Job Details:

• Outpatient Speech-Language Pathology position within a Neuro Rehabilitation environment
• Work with adults and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 9-10 patients
• Treat patients with diagnoses including CVA, Parkinson's Disease, concussion, voice disorders, dysphagia, head and neck cancer, dementia, Alzheimer's, MS, and other progressive and non-progressive neurologic disorders
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; outpatient experience preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred; first-time travelers with prior outpatient experience will be considered
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, TX License; LSVT certification required to use LSVT Loud Companion equipment
• Special equipment includes Mobili'T and LSVT Loud Companion
• Key skills include dysphagia management, bedside swallow evaluations, modified barium swallow study interpretation, AAC devices, augmentative communication, oral motor therapy, voice therapy, TBI treatment, and fluency
• No call or weekend coverage required
