Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Rotating schedule consisting mostly of days and evenings with occasional nights to cover staff PTO
• Shift options include two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week, with consideration for candidates willing to work three 12-hour shifts
• Shift start times vary at 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 2:30 PM
• Occasional night shifts run either 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 4 work days per week with approximately 12 estimated hours per week
• Rotating weekend schedule, varying between every other and every third weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Independently perform computed tomography procedures utilizing established scan protocols, including contrast administration
• Perform venipuncture and proper use of power injector according to department and manufacturer protocols
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and assess patients for potential risk factors prior to contrast media administration
• Utilize complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Ensure proper patient identification using two patient identifiers and review patient history to apply specific departmental protocols
• Properly code, track, and network all exams for archiving and interpretation, and enter all charges for exams performed
• GE equipment experience preferred
• Procedural experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required

• 2 years of experience required
• ARRT in Radiology with CT experience or ARRT in CT preferred
• Required certifications and licenses: ARRT Certificate, Basic Life Support (BLS), PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73
• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program required
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired or date of hire if primary registry is already obtained
