Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Philadelphia, PA

Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist to join their Operating Room team. You will work a 5x8 day shift schedule, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with no regular weekend shifts but weekend call required. You will earn $2,160 per week for a 91-day assignment beginning November 30, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in the Operating Room across multiple surgical specialties
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
• Maintain proficiency with the Cerner charting system

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room Surgical Tech experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Strong general OR background
• Total joint procedure scrubbing
• Neurosurgery experience including ALIF, cervical fusion, craniotomy, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, and lumbar fusion
• Transplant experience including heart, kidney, liver, lung, and organ-donation procedures
• Vascular experience including carotid angioplasty/stenting, carotid endarterectomy, AV fistula repair, femoral-popliteal bypass, and abdominal aortic aneurysm repair
• General Surgery experience including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic cases, thyroidectomy, and Whipple procedures
• Orthopedic experience including total hip and knee replacements, fracture procedures, arthroscopy, and spinal fusion

Certifications and Logistics

• Current NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• On-call required: approximately 6 weekday call shifts and 2 weekend call rotations per 6-week period
