Telemetry RN Job in Joplin, MO

Mercy Hospital Joplin is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry unit. You will work 3x12 hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed weekly hours. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process for post-cardiac surgery, cardiac, and general medical patients
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:5
• Float to other units as needed—this is a non-negotiable requirement
• Maintain professional accountability for all patient care delivered
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care team members
• Coordinate care with other departments to ensure continuity
• Uphold patient rights and maintain confidentiality of medical information
• Work weekend hours and on-call requirements as determined by the facility

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Team-focused approach to patient care
