Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Christian Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Medical Surgical Telemetry unit in Saint Louis, MO. This is a night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts with 36 hours guaranteed per week, starting September 8, 2026, for a 91-week assignment.

Position Overview

You will care for adult patients with medical, surgical, and oncology diagnoses on a 28-room unit with a typical daily census of 19 patients. Your patient ratio will be 1:5-6. The unit includes two Comfort Care Suites dedicated to end-of-life patients, and you will collaborate with a Unit Secretary who provides interdisciplinary support.

Schedule and Requirements

• Night shift (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on existing rotation)
• Two shifts every other weekend
• No on-call required
• Floating within the service line required at times
• 2+ years of nursing experience required

Clinical Skills and Certifications

You must hold current BLS, NIHSS, and Fire Safety certifications. Epic charting experience is required. Your clinical responsibilities include accessing and managing ports, administering chemotherapy, interpreting dysrhythmias, implementing isolation precautions and proper PPE use, monitoring chemotherapy effects, managing PCA pumps, starting and maintaining IVs, and responding to rapid response and code team activations.
